Soldiers Martyred in cross-border firing: Terrorists attacked a security forces post in the Singwan neighborhood of District Kech in Balochistan along the Pakistan-Iran border, as the military’s media arm reported.
The ISPR reported that a major fire exchange took place after the post’s soldiers, who were already on high alert, bravely reacted with all of their weapons and effectively forced out the terrorists;
However, two troops chose martyrdom as they valiantly engaged the attackers in a fierce firefight.
The military’s media arm identified the two soldiers who died in battle as Sepoy Hasnain Ishtiaq, 34, from Dera Ghazi Khan, and Sepoy Inayat Ullah, 27, from Jhal Magsi.
According to the ISPR, to prevent terrorists from having any chance of escaping, the security forces have immediately begun a sanitization operation in the region. They are in contact with Iranian authorities over the border.
However, The report states that Balochistan’s security forces remain committed to preventing attempts to undermine peace and stability along the country’s borders.
