The fall of walls and roofs in Bannu resulted in the deaths of about 15 individuals. In Lakki Marwat, five people, including three children, died, while in Kirk, four individuals, including two young siblings, perished.
Three sisters in Khushab died and were buried beneath the wall’s rubble. As a result of numerous mishaps, up to 100 individuals could have been hurt in Bannu, while more than 40 people could have been hurt in Lakki Marwat.
After the incidents were reported, the rescue team arrived at the accident scene, and the victims trapped under the rubble were freed. For medical care, the injured have been taken to the hospital.
Strong winds and rain broke the country-wide heat wave that had been going on for two weeks. Several cities nationwide, including Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Lahore, Attock, Bannu, Shahkot, and Sheikhupura, experienced rain.
Murree, Shangla, Mingora, Swat, Tank, Lakki Marwat, Shakargarh, and Hangu also had rain. Thunder and rain fell in Nankana Sahib, Pir Mahal, Bhakkar, and Kasur.
In multiple regions, electricity feeders tripped, and walls and roofs collapsed in various locations, killing people. Last night, according to rescue sources, hospitals were placed on an emergency due to concern over casualties.
