General Syed Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff COAS, said that in order to address the current situation’s economic and terrorist threats, there must be national consensus.
At the Pakistan Naval Academy in Karachi, the 118th Midshipmen’s Commissioning Parade and the 26th Short Service Commission were both held. General Syed Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff occasionally served as the main guest.
Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi, Chief of the Naval Staff, welcomed the COAS when he arrived at Pakistan Naval Academy. Speaking to the crowd, COAS thanked the commissioning term for completing their training and becoming Pakistan’s maritime frontier defenders. According to COAS, the maritime domain is constantly changing, largely as a result of technology improvement; in this context, only navies that are in line with professionalism and modern warfare trends will win and prove effective.

The General Syed Asim Munir commends the Pakistan Naval Academy for providing students from friendly nations as well as Pakistani cadets with high-quality education. Young officers were instructed by COAS to lead by their conduct, integrity, professional acumen, and foresight as future leaders.
According to COAS, Pakistan is currently in one of its most crucial points in history. To overcome the obstacles presented by the economy and terrorism, this calls for the formation of a national consensus by all interested parties.
The prize winners afterwards received awards from the Chief Guest. Lt. Kashif Abdul Quyyom PN received the renowned Quaid-i-Azam Gold Medal for putting in his overall best performance. For his outstanding achievement, midshipman Naufil Malik received the coveted Sword of Honour.
Later, General Munir paid a visit to Malir Garrison and placed a wreath of flowers at the Martyr’s Monument.
At Malir Garrison, COAS also addressed the officers of the Karachi Corps, Rangers, and other CAFs. The COAS emphasised the necessity to concentrate on one’s career and the challenges of contemporary combat and directed information operations.
