Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has instructed IG police to mobilize SSU and Reserve police on the roadways in Karachi. The goal of this mobilization is to rid the action against street criminals. The police forces will be supporting the district police in this effort.

He asserted that the goal of the city police should be the eradication of street crime. “If they fail, we should immediately transfer or remove the implicated SSP and SHOs.”

He gave the IGP Sindh instructions to deploy the police, reserve, and SSU force to the hotspots. He also instructed the IGP to increase police patrolling for vigilance. “The Chief Minister asked the IGP to continue sending updates on their whereabouts, photos, and deployment plans.”

Murad Ali Shah has given the police orders to increase their efforts to capture drug dealers and repeat offenders. “The court has either granted bail to these individuals or they are still at large. The Chief Minister has instructed the police to step up their pursuit of these individuals.”

He claimed that terrorists and other criminals had already caused the worst lawlessness and destruction of order in Karachi. He said: “Now the people of the megacity could not be left at the mercy of street criminals and we have to develop a sense of security among them by eliminating street crime.” “After a lot of sacrifices endured by the police and other law enforcement agencies in the line of duty, the government restored law and order with the support of Karachiites,” he added.

“The Chief Minister of Sindh has instructed the Inspector General of Police, Ghulam Nabi, to give certain directives to the city police, SSU, and Reserve police concerning action against street criminals. These groups will provide support to the district police in Karachi. The Inspector General of Police has followed the Chief Minister’s instructions and given the necessary directives to the relevant law enforcement agencies. The directives pertain to the Chief Minister’s instructions on taking action against street criminals.”
