Mehwish Hayat, a Pakistani actor, filed a lawsuit against Major (r) Adil Raja, a YouTuber, on Wednesday at Sindh High Court (SHC) for spreading false information.
Mehwish Hayat reportedly employs security in response to conspiracy theories
Hayat, a star of “Ms. Marvel,” was represented in court by Khawaja Naveed. She asked the court to order the removal of any content relating to her from social media and YouTube, claiming that it had negatively impacted her renown and reputation as a result of the defamatory posts about her on social media.
Mehwish Hayat also requested that the court punish Adil Raja severely. On January 5, Kubra Khan filed a petition in the SHC against the former army officer accusing her of bringing false accusations against four female actors in the media without thinking about the repercussions.
FIA will record Kubra’s testimony in the slander case involving a YouTuber.
She claimed that Adil Raja’s bogus accusations had damaged and undermined the honor and dignity of the aforementioned female performers. We discovered 27 social media profiles. 14 of these were Twitter accounts and 13 were Instagram accounts. We blocked these profiles and asked for them to be included in the petition.
Even after contacting the PTA and FIA, the YouTubers were not stopped. As a result, the reputation of the female actors was irreparably harmed. “Raja later clarified and changed his mind in a different video.
Mehwish, Kubra, and Sajal Aly had previously criticized the actors’ slanderous social media posts.
