A leading US manufacturer offered drones to Ukraine.
WASHINGTON, a Leading US manufacturer of cutting-edge military surveillance drones made an announcement and urged the US government to allow the sale of two drones to Ukraine for just $1.
General Atomic Aeronautical Systems claims it has been pleading with Washington to give the powerful Grey Eagle and Reaper drones to Ukraine for months, but US forces are withholding these drones, which they have effectively used for surveillance and targeted attacks over Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, and other conflict zones.
It claimed Ukraine needs drones for its conflict with Russia to improve force. Drones can travel great distances at medium heights.
Ukraine has received a number of tiny attack and surveillance drones from the US military, but none with the sophisticated engineering and long-range capabilities of General Atomic’s unmanned aircraft.
General Atomics CEO Linden Blue said in a statement that “from the onset of the Russian invasion, we began exploring for possibilities to react to the needs of Ukrainian forces with our equipment, including the MQ-9 Reaper and MQ-1C Gray Eagle.”
According to him, the business has volunteered to educate Ukrainian operators without charging the US or Ukrainian governments anything.
For a symbolic $1, the corporation prepared to donate two of its training planes and a ground control center, along with other equipment.
According to him, the cost of preparing and transporting the aircraft as well as setting up the operation to launch them over the battlefield would be borne by Ukraine or another party.
The offer is a fantastic value with no conditions, according to Blue.
“US government consent is all that is needed,”
According to him, it had long since been necessary to provide Ukrainian forces the informational edge they needed to triumph in this conflict.
