At the Multan Cricket Stadium on Wednesday, Multan Sultans beat Karachi Kings to win the 11th game of the eighth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) by three runs.

Mohammad Rizwan had earlier produced a spectacular innings to assist Multan Sultans set a lofty target of 197 runs for Karachi Kings.

When Shan Masood got out for 51 runs, Rizwan scored an unbeaten 110 runs off 64 and led his team to victory. When the Kings only managed to take two wickets in the 20-over contest, Rilee Rossouw scored 29 runs.

The points table is currently topped by Sultans. The Karachi Kings, on the other hand, were only able to pick up a solitary victory in the ongoing Twenty20 competition after suffering back-to-back losses.

In the premier event, Kings and Sultans have faced off 11 times. Multan Sultans have prevailed in five games, and Kings have won four.

Muhammad Amir, the premier bowler for Karachi Kings, recently suffered an injury, which was devastating for the team’s already precarious situation.
