GUJRANWALA: On Friday, a Gujranwala anti-terrorism court (ATC) issues an arrest warrant with a bailable amount for Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan.

The senior PML-N leader was the subject of the arrest warrants following a complaint made by PML-Q leader Shahkaz Aslam that the senior politician had threatened the Punjab chief secretary and his family with death. Someone made the accusation at the Industrial police station in August 2022.

However, the Gujranwala ATC disregarded the police report and instructed them to appear with Rana Sanaullah on March 7.

The court also gave the involved cops, the DSP, and the SP investigations show-cause notices and asked them to appear before it.

Someone filed a First Information Report (FIR) against Interior Minister and PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah under the Anti-Terrorism Act on August 25 at Gujrat’s Industrial Area Police Station.

Based on a complaint from a regular person, Shahbaz Aslam, an FIR was filed.

Moreover, the substance of the FIR alleges that Sanaullah targeted respectable judicial and government officials in 2021, without any sense of shame.

However, The FIR claims that in 2021, Sanaullah openly targeted respectable government and judicial personnel.
