Maryam and Imran Twitter argument: Imran Khan, the leader of the PTI, was retaliated against by Maryam Nawaz, the senior vice president of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), on Saturday after he claimed that the ruling Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) had attacked Supreme Court judges to “run away from elections.”
On Twitter, the former prime minister posted that PDM and Maryam, a spoilt brat, had shamelessly and premeditatedly attacked SC judges with one sole purpose: to avoid elections even if it meant breaching the Constitution.
The ousted PM also posted a video compilation of the leaders of the ruling coalition, challenging them to dissolve the assembly in Punjab and K-P if they wanted elections. They now fear the elections because they know that they will lose due to the confrontational approach they have taken.
In response to his outburst, the head of the ruling PML-N mentioned the current cases, such as Toshakhana against Imran, and claimed that he is the first former prime minister in the history of the nation to “be guilty of all sorts of corruption.”
She wrote on her official Twitter account, “You are the first ever PM to be guilty of all forms of corruption. You not only stole £190m (Rs58b), committed the theft of your wife’s jewelry and Tosha Khana, and signed files for a 5 carat diamond ring, but you also failed to convince anyone with your “thief and dacoit” narrative.
The PTI leader’s efforts to evade the courts and request adjournments, according to Maryam, “are a glaring admission of you being guilty,” she wrote in another tweet. However, Your prosthetic limb won’t help you anymore. Face the law and be a man.
