For the upcoming 15 days, the federal government has again lowered the cost of petrol, diesel and other petroleum products.

Govt reduces petrol prices: Ishaq Dar claimed during a news conference that there had been no significant adjustments to the price of oil on the world market.

The company will reduce the price of petrol by Rs 8 per liter, diesel by Rs 5 per liter, and light diesel by Rs 5 for the next 15 days.

Petrol has been decreased in price from 270 to 262 rupees per liter, diesel from 258 to 253 rupees per liter, and light diesel from 152 to 147 rupees per liter. On the other hand, the cost of paraffin, which remains constant at Rs164.70 a liter, has not changed.

Beginning on June 1, the new petroleum prices will be in effect.

Since April, Pakistan’s petroleum product prices have decreased three times in a row.

The finance ministry announced a cut in the cost of petrol, diesel and other petroleum products on May 15. As a result, the cost of petrol, high-speed diesel (HSD), light diesel and kerosene oil decreased by Rs 12 per liter, Rs 30, Rs 12, and Rs 30, respectively.

However, After the price of petroleum products dropped, the finance minister urged the transport companies to lower the rates.
