Iraq and Pakistan Strengthen Bilateral Cooperation in Various Areas
Pakistan and Iraq agree to strengthen ties: Iraq and Pakistan have decided to expand their bilateral cooperation in several areas.
During a meeting between Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Sheikh Dr. Hamoudi, the head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, they reached an agreement today in Baghdad.
They discussed ways to improve their respective countries’ commerce, investment, and efforts to maintain peace and security throughout the region.
The Foreign Minister also spoke with Mohammed al-Halboosi, Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, about encouraging cooperative parliamentary exchanges.
During the meeting between Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Ammar Hakeem, the president of the Al-Hikmet Party of Iraq, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari emphasized the strong historical, religious, and cultural ties that exist between the two countries, based on mutual respect and understanding.
