Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed that the Turkishmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline project would bring about a period of regional collaboration, progress, and prosperity.

TAPI gas pipeline project: The prime minister said in a speech at the TAPI Joint Implementation Plan signing event that the project was crucial for the growth of the four nations and the region.

According to Sharif, the project will assist the area in securing natural gas subject to specific guarantees and mutually acceptable terms and circumstances.

He said that given the state of the world, energy has become a significant problem.

Additionally, “There is a need for swift action to explore the options for energy,” he added of a developing nation like Pakistan.

Additionally, The prime minister gave his staff the go-ahead to expedite the TAPI project’s development and implementation.

Furthermore, He stated, “Turkmenistan and Pakistan are prepared to intensify their collaboration and broaden their bilateral ties.”

However, Turkmenistan’s State Minister and Chairman of TurkmenGas, Maskat Babayev, and the State Minister for Petroleum, Musadik Malik, signed the TAP Joint Implementation Plan before the prime minister.
