Former Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Zaka Ashraf re-met Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Ehsan Mazari today.
Zaka Ashraf to be the new PCB chairman: Mazari recently triggered a fresh discussion about the prestigious position in the nation’s cash-rich organization, PCB.
In the recent past, Mazari had stated, “We had an arrangement when we had created this administration that the party running the appropriate ministries will have their individuals appointed in departments under the ministries.
His remarks sparked a new discussion for a new PCB chairman. Mazari and Ashraf met once just a few days prior, and today was their second encounter.
IPC ministry posted a photo of Mazari and Ashraf together on Twitter.
According to the post, the respected sport’s official Chaudhary Muhammad Zaka Ashraf met with Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Ehsan Mazari today.
On the other side, the head of the Management Committee (MC), Najam Sethi, received praise from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who is also the patron of PCB.
After the PM created a 14-member MC in December of last year to reinstate the 2014 constitution, Sethi is now in charge of the PCB’s operations.
Sources claim that the PM has also chosen to put Sethi and Mustafa Ramday—a member of the MC and an advocate for the Supreme Court of Pakistan—forward for the PCB chairman election.
