On Friday, the first anniversary of the late televangelist’s passing, Dr. Bushra Iqbal, the late husband of well-known TV personality and religious scholar Aamir Liaquat Hussain, paid tribute to him.
Aamir Liaquat’s first death anniversary: Bushra shared her feelings on Twitter, claiming that the hurt still felt as sharply as it did on June 9, 2022, when Hussain passed away.
“Until Aamir receives justice, those guilty for his pain and torment will continue to face punishment. The biggest court is still to come,” stated the distraught ex-wife.
Bushra asked everyone to pray for Hussain’s soul after describing how the events leading up to his death had caused Hussain to experience depression.
She prayed, “May Allah reward him many times for all his good deeds.”
At 50, Hussain passed away on June 9, 2022. He was buried in the Abdullah Shah Ghazi cemetery in Karachi. His premature passing shocked the nation when it was announced.
