Sindh Govt launched Mobile app to track Peoples Bus Service

Sharjeel Inam Memon, the Sindh Minister of Information and Transport, has unveiled a smartphone app that will allow prospective customers of the Peoples Bus Service to follow the progress of buses in real time.

Mobile app track Peoples Bus Service: Speaking at the event, Memon said the new software allows users of iPhone and Android smartphones to learn about bus rates, schedules, and other important details pertaining to the Peoples Bus Service.

He noted that the software would also let the provincial authorities keep an eye on the bus service in real time. According to Sharjeel Memon, the app offers additional crucial details regarding the intra-city commuter service in Karachi and neighbouring locations.

Speaking of other ongoing transport initiatives in the city, Sharjeel stated: “The administration is aggressively planning to introduce e-taxis and is making significant progress on the Red Line Bus significant Transit (BRT) project, which will be the first BRT system using biogas in Pakistan.

Further He stated that the projects for the Yellow Line BRT and Red Line BRT have an estimated cost of about Rs200 billion.

However, Sharjeel Inam Memon remarked that the Sindh government intends to put an end to the people’s transport issues and will initiate efforts to connect Karachi, Hyderabad, Larkana, Sukkur, and Mirpurkhas’ rural districts with the cities through the People’s Bus Service.
