In Karachi. Russia has delivered a second shipment of crude oil to Pakistan in accordance with the historic deal that the two countries signed.
Second shipment crude oil arrives in Pakistan: ‘Clyde Noble,’ a ship carrying 55,000 metric tonnes of crude oil, is the vessel carrying the second supply of Russian oil.
The delivery and processing of the first consignment, which totaled 45,000 metric tonnes of oil, concluded before the middle of June. The subsequent shipment follows this initial delivery.
Pakistan has placed an order for a shipment of discounted Russian crude oil, scheduled to arrive at Karachi port in May. This order grants Russia a new outlet for its crude, in addition to China and India, allowing Moscow to divert volume from western markets where the ban on its oil has been in effect since the Ukraine conflict.
