The Hajj Sermon was delivered in Masjid-e-Nimra by Sheikh Dr. Yousaf bin Muhammad bin Saeed, who is also a member of the Council of Senior Scholars.
Sheikh Yusuf calls for unity among Muslim Ummah: To perform the Rukn-e-Azam of Hajj, or “Waqoof-e-Arafat,” which serves as the Hajj’s culmination, hundreds if thousands of Muslim pilgrims from around the world gathered in Maidan-e-Arafat on Tuesday.
Sheikh Dr. Yousaf bin Muhammad bin Saeed exhorted the Muslims to maintain peace and brotherhood among them during his extensive sermon at Masjid-e-Nimra.
According to him, every Muslim is like a part of a single body, and when one part of the body aches, the entire body feels the pain. Sheikh Dr. Yousaf’s Hajj lecture advised Muslims to show solidarity, act courteously, and steer clear of confrontations.
Muslims ought to behave properly since only those who do on the Day of Judgement will be near the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him).
“The testimony that Muhammad (PBUH) is Allah’s messenger and the testimony that there is none other to worship but Allah.”
In addition, Sheikh Dr. Yousaf stated that all Muslims must appreciate and value humanity in his or her Hajj sermon. “Fear of Allah Almighty and obeying his commands are the keys to success.”
He asserted that Allah had commanded Muslims to continue praying and giving zakat to those in need.
Sheikh Yousaf advised Muslims to perform their prayers so that Almighty Allah could see them.
The pilgrims will depart for Muzdalifah after Azaan-e-Maghrib, where they will offer the Maghrib and Isha prayers together and spend the night outside. Pilgrims would also gather pebbles from Muzdalifah to hurl at Satin the next morning.
They will leave for Mina to perform the remaining Hajj rituals after performing the Fajr Prayer in Muzdalifah.
