On the invitation of the Japanese government, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari arrived in Japan on Saturday for a four-day official visit.
FM Bilawal lands in Japan: When Bhutto-Zardari first arrived in Japan, prominent officials from the Japanese foreign ministry and Pakistan’s ambassador to Japan greeted him.
He will have a meeting with Japan’s foreign minister and prime minister.
Bhutto-Zardari had encouraged major powers not to politicize the fight against terrorism and make it a point of contention.
In reaction to the joint statement from the United States and India that included Pakistan, he said this when addressing the National Assembly on Friday.
Bhutto-Zardari stated that the international community should take the threat of terrorism seriously and emphasized that cooperation can eliminate it.
He regretted that the situation in Ukraine had replaced terrorism as the world’s primary concern. According to Pakistan’s foreign minister, “we have suffered more casualties than any other country in the world” as a result of terrorism.
According to Bhutto-Zardari, Pakistan should combat terrorism and extremism in order to promote peace, stability, and prosperity for its own citizens.
He condemned those who targeted military sites and martyr memorials, stating that they did not deserve any mercy, especially when civilians were being tried in military courts.
