Pakistan on Tuesday strongly condemned the raids and airstrikes carried out by the Israeli occupation forces on Jenin in the occupied Palestinian area of the West Bank. The attacks resulted in the murder of at least 10 Palestinians and injuries to almost 50 others.
Pakistan condemns Israeli raids in Jenin: The Foreign Office issued a statement on Tuesday saying, “Pakistan condemns, in the strongest terms possible, the raids and airstrikes carried out by the Israeli occupation forces since yesterday in Jenin in the occupied Palestinian territory of the West Bank, which killed 10 Palestinians and injured about 50 others.”
“This latest episode of violence against the occupied people of Palestine by the occupying power must end immediately,” the Foreign Office spokeswoman declared in a statement.
The spokesperson reaffirmed Pakistan’s requests that the international community step up and take charge of stopping these violent and unlawful actions by the Israeli occupation forces and guaranteeing the protection of the human rights of the Palestinian people.
The Palestinian people’s rightful struggle for the full realisation of their rights and freedoms, including the right to self-determination, has Pakistan’s strong and unwavering support once again.
The spokesperson said, “We also reiterate our call for the establishment of a viable, independent, and contiguous Palestinian State, with pre-1967 borders and Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital, in accordance with the relevant OIC and UN resolutions.
