Imran Khan, the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), came under fire from information minister Marriyum Aurangzeb on Monday, accusing him of being directly to blame for the events of May 9.

PTI chairman directly responsible for May 9: Marriyum stated during a press briefing in Islamabad that the PTI leader asked who benefitted from the actions that followed his arrest on May 9 on his Twitter account on Sunday.

She claimed that the PTI leader was trying to conceal his involvement in corruption in the Al-Qadir Trust case and the beginning of Tosha Khana’s trial, which was uncovering evidence against him, by using these tactics.

Where did they go with the £190 million received from the National Crime Agency (NCA)? You need to explain, she said, not just ask questions.

She claimed that his remarks about cypher, the ludicrous assertion that he was the target of a planned rocket launcher attack, and his allusions to Hazrat Isa and the Holy Quran demonstrated his “sick mentality.”

She stated that Imran’s awareness of his “evil plans” eventually landing him in jail terrified him.

After criticising the PTI leader for “furthering his anti-state agenda through his proxies and puppets” while abroad, the communications minister held a press conference the following day.

In a press release, the minister stated that they will hold the PTI leader accountable if any political extremism occurs in the nation. “Some elements have participated in anti-state actions and treason while sitting abroad.

Marriyum Accuses PTI Chief of Persistent State Assault and Unabated Media Campaign, Cites “FOMO” Syndrome

According to her, the PTI chief’s persistent assault against the state has continued unabatedly with just sporadic changes to the faces participating.

She further stated that his evil intentions and mindset played a direct role in contributing to the abhorrent and shameless media campaign launched against the national institutions.

Marriyum made it clear that the “foreign agent” suffered from an illness that was untreatable and manifested as an obsession with attention. He has been experiencing “FOMO” (fear of missing out) syndrome after being forced from power.
