The Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) has decided on the “eagle” as their official election emblem for the 2023 general elections.
Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party unveils election symbol: IPP Central Information Secretary Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan revealed in a statement that the party has chosen its official election emblem.
She said that the IPP had formally asked the Pakistani Election Commission (ECP) for the use of the eagle as a symbol.
According to Firdous Ashiq Awan, the party will submit its request for symbol allocation together with its registration application.
Firdous Ashiq Awan, the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party’s (IPP) central secretary for information, had previously ruled out a “electoral alliance” with the PML-N, claiming that her party couldn’t support the latter’s weight.
The IPP leader rejected the idea of a “electoral alliance” with the Shehbaz Sharif-led PML-N, saying doing so would be a “political disaster.” He was speaking on the News programme “Sawwal Ye Hai.”
The only solution, according to Firdous Ashiq Awan, was to hold “immediate and transparent” general elections. He underlined that the nation was currently experiencing a constitutional crisis.
It is important to note that veteran politician Jahangir Tareen just established the “Istehkam-e-Pakistan” party.
