Twitter announced on Thursday that a portion of the advertising money the firm generates will be available to certain of the social media platform’s content creators.
Twitter offer ad revenue content creators: According to Twitter, content creators will receive a portion of the money from advertising displayed in their replies. The creators must also be verified users with at least 5 million post impressions over the previous three months and have a Stripe payment account in order to qualify.
Twitter is making an effort to entice more content producers to its site. The business started allowing users to charge for access to their content earlier this year.
The entrepreneur who purchased Twitter last October, Elon Musk, has previously stated that in the first year, the firm will distribute to authors all subscription earnings, except payment gateway fees.
