The price of gold in Pakistan climbed further in line with a rise in the global market.

Gold price increased: The price of gold (24 carats) climbed by Rs 1,600 per tola and Rs 131 per 10 grammes, according to data supplied by the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), to settle at Rs 214,800 and Rs 184,156, respectively.

In the meantime, the price of the yellow metal increased $2 to end the day’s trading at $1,957 per ounce on the global market.

Additionally, the prices for a tola and a ten-gram piece of silver remained the same at Rs. 2,650 and Rs. 2,271.94 respectively.

Pakistan’s gold price has fluctuated recently due to ongoing political and economic unrest, as well as severe inflation.

Last week, the price of gold in Pakistan skyrocketed in response to a surge on the global market.

The price of gold (24 carats) increased by Rs 6,500 per tola and Rs 5,574 per 10 grammes, respectively, to close at Rs 214,500 and Rs 193,900.

Pakistan received the first installment of $1.2 billion for the SBA program from the International Monetary Fund on Thursday.

According to Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, there would be two installments. The remaining $1.8 will be released after two reviews.
