Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) reacted to former prime minister’s ex-principal secretary Azam Khan’s ‘cypher drama’ statement.

PTI reacts Azam Khan’s statement: According to specifics, a PTI spokesperson claimed that the unsubstantiated statement attributed to Azam Khan is replete with inconsistencies.

According to the statement, they have reported Azam Khan’s disappearance case, and the police have been unable to locate him. Legal professionals claim it is impossible to record a statement made before the magistrate under Article 164.

According to a PTI spokeswoman, the former prime minister has already disclosed the true causes, course of action, and consequences of the illegal arrests and forced disappearances.

The National Security Committee (NSC) has also already confirmed the US cypher’s contents, and the cabinet committee declassified and examined the cypher before presenting it to the NSC, the spokeswoman continued.

In the meantime, the Chairman of the Senate and the President urged Pakistan’s Chief Justice (CJP) to look into the US Cypher. The government should notify the public and the court about Azam Khan’s whereabouts and the allegations against him, the PTI spokesperson added, rather than making false statements.

“The PTI chairman and former prime minister, on the other hand, responded to Azam Khan’s statement, stating that he will reserve judgment until all the facts are known.” He claimed that the circumstances surrounding Azam Khan’s words are yet unknown.

Azam Khan, a former principal secretary to the PTI chairman and former prime minister, made shocking claims earlier and asserted that the former PM used US cypher for his ‘political benefits’ and to fend off a motion of no-confidence against him.

Khan, who had been “missing” since last month, unexpectedly showed up in front of the action and made shocking discoveries regarding the US cypher while giving a magistrate his testimony as required by CrPC 164.
