Diplomatic sources reported on Tuesday that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is planning to travel to Pakistan later this month.

Erdogan will meet with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif during his visit to the country to go over issues of common interest.

Hakan Fidan, the foreign minister of Turkey, will meet with Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the foreign minister of Pakistan, at a later time.

According to them, the two parties would sign a variety of Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) to improve economic and trade cooperation in many sectors.

It is important to note that PM Shehbaz Sharif came to Turkey last month to attend President Erdogan’s inauguration with other foreign leaders.

The prime minister spoke with other foreign leaders while he was in Ankara and they discussed ways to cooperate in a variety of areas.

On behalf of the government and people of Pakistan, the prime minister congratulated President Erdogan on his reelection as leader on May 28.
