PM Shehbaz vows to rebuild flood-affected areas: Today, the Prime Minister tweeted that he presided over the third International Partners Support Group meeting, which took place yesterday. The meeting focused on discussing the ongoing rehabilitation and reconstruction of the flood-affected districts. In his tweet today, the Prime Minister mentioned that the Group, established after the Resilient Pakistan Conference in Geneva, organized the gathering to commemorate one year since massive floods devastated Pakistan.
The prime minister thanked all the friendly nations, partners, and donors who support international development for their prompt and generous help. “He assured them that a reputable third party would conduct a proper audit of foreign aid, and his government would use it transparently, effectively, and efficiently.”
The prime minister commended the UNDP for the superb coordination and cooperation between the Pakistani government and the international community.
