A bomb explosion that occurred on Sunday in the Khar tehsil of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bajaur district resulted in at least 40 fatalities and more than 150 injuries.

Law enforcement discovered that almost 400 people were attending the JUI-F workers convention on Shanday Morr, close to the NADRA headquarters. They subsequently blocked off the area.
The incident claimed the lives of JUI-F members Hamidullah and Khar Ameer Maulana Ziaullah Jan. Additionally, a cameraman named Samiullah, who works for a private news channel, was also injured.
According to KP’s interim information minister, the bombing injured 200 people. They will transport critically injured individuals from Bajaur and the surrounding districts’ hospitals, which are on high alert, to Peshawar.
Three Pakistan Army helicopters, which participated in the rescue effort, transferred ten seriously injured people to Peshawar’s Lady Reading Hospital.
Major General Noor Wali Khan, the Inspector General Frontier Corps (IG FC), also travelled to Bajaur and oversaw the rescue operations.
Earlier, Deputy Commissioner (DC) revealed that 35 people died in a major bomb blast that occurred during a JUI-F workers convention on Shanday Morr, close to the NADRA office.
He reported sending about 150 injured people, including several in serious condition, to the local hospital.
The 30 fatalities from the bomb explosion were also confirmed by KP Governor Ghulam Ali.
Hafiz Hamdullah, the central head of the JUI-F, claimed that despite having a packed itinerary, he was planning to attend the workers convention as well. Hafiz Hamdullah referred to the bombing incident as terrorism and pandemonium while denouncing it.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman Calls for High-Level Investigation and Urges Support for Victims After Bomb Blast
Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the head of JUI-F, expressed sorrow over the bomb blast and urged that the prime minister and acting chief minister of KP launch a high-level investigation.
He prayed for the injured workers to heal quickly and for the souls of the deceased to find eternal peace. He pleaded with the JUI-F employees to maintain their composure and get to the hospital to give blood for the injured people.
Additionally, he urged that the provincial and federal governments offer the injured people the finest medical care possible.
A number of lawmakers publicly denounced the bombing and offered their sympathies for the loss of the innocent souls in the terrible attack.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), denounced the bombing of the JUI-F workers’ convention and sent his sympathies to the impacted families. Bilawal prayed as well for the injured people to get better quickly.
He asked that the KP and federal governments prosecute the terrorists and their enablers. He pushed for the elimination of the terrorist attacks’ planners.
Asif Ali Zardari, co-chairman of the PPP, denounced the explosion and asked the nation to rid itself of terrorist strongholds like Swat.
Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer Sirajul Haq harshly denounced the bombing at the JUI-F public assembly, and he also claimed that the attack’s goal was to bring anarchy to the nation.
However, He asserted that it is the duty of the state to safeguard the lives and property of all public officials and people. Sirajul Haq demanded an investigation into the bombing event and the prosecution of those responsible.
