22 leaders, including the former chief minister of Punjab, Usman Buzdar, had their party memberships cancelled by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday due to policy violations.
PTI terminates party membership of Usman others: According to sources, 22 people had their party memberships revoked as a result of their violations of the party’s policies by PTI’s Secretary General, Umar Ayub, who signed the notification.
Usman Buzdar, Sardar Muhammad Khan Laghari, Khusro Bakhtiar, Javed Akhtar Ansari, Farooq Azam Malik, and others had their memberships cancelled.
The group kicked out Tariq Abdullah, Mian Shafi Muhammad, Muhammad Asghar Shah, Ahtsham ul Haq, Bahawal Khan Abbasi, Muhammad Akhtar Malik, Nadeem Shah, and Bahawal Khan.
PTI also terminated the membership of Muhammad Afzal, Ahsan-ul-Haq, Saleem Akhtar, Muhammad Zaheeruddin Khan, Salman Khan Gadoka, Akram Khanu, Muhyiddin Solangi, Makhdoom Afkhar ul Hasan, and Raja Muhammad Saleem.
Usman Buzdar, a former chief minister of Punjab and the head of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), previously declared his intention to leave politics in the wake of the events of May 9.
Usman Buzdar urged all parties involved to put aside their egos, leave their respective groups, and come to a resolution. Additionally, he requested that all innocent prisoners be freed from custody.
It is important to note that several PTI leaders and lawmakers have left the former ruling party in the wake of the vandalism on May 9; these individuals include Fawad Chaudhry, Shireen Mazari, Imran Ismail, Ali Zaidi, Aamir Mehmood Kiani, Malik Amin Aslam, Mahmood Moulvi, Aftab Siddiqui, and Fayyazul Hassan Chohan, among others.
