Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced the creation of a special fund for journalists as well as the issuance of health cards to those who work in the media and the arts.
PM issues special fund for journalists: The Prime Minister said that the health cards would be issued and that a special fund would be established for journalists during a ceremony that was conducted in Islamabad to distribute health cards to journalists, media professionals, and artists.
According to Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, the journalists who died while performing their jobs will each receive Rs 4 million from the special fund. This fund will also receive additional increases.
Shahbaz Sharif claimed that working journalists encounter difficulties in carrying out their tasks and referred to this unique fund as a revolutionary development in the journalism industry.
He remarked, “May Allah keep everyone healthy, but illness is also a part of our lives,” as he announced the introduction of health cards. Due to the installation of health cards, today is significant. Congratulations to those involved with this effort.
Shahbaz Sharif, the prime minister, said, “On April 11, last year, when I took over the responsibility of being prime minister, I did not complain to anyone despite criticism or stories written by journalists.”
The speaker continued, “Criticism helps a lot if it is based on facts and such criticism is more authentic than a special branch report.”
