An accountability court in Islamabad revoked the former prime minister’s temporary release on bail in the National Crime Agency (NCA) £190 million scandal.

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) deputy prosecutor general Sardar Muzaffar and PTI chairman attorney Khawaja Haris both appeared in court.
After hearing arguments from both sides, the court revoked the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman’s interim bail due to non-pursuance.
NCA £190 million controversy
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is conducting an inquiry into Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi, and others regarding their alleged acquisition of hundreds of acres of land in the name of the Al Qadir University Trust. It is claime that this acquisition has incurred a cost of 190 million pounds to the national exchequer.
According to the allegations, the former prime minister and other suspects reportedly altered Rs50 billion (190 million pounds at the time), which was provided to the government by the British National Crime Agency (NCA).
On December 26, 2019, the PTI chairman established the Trust for the Al-Qadir University Project.
