According to insiders, former finance secretary Waqar Masood will likely become finance minister in the interim administration.

Senator Sarfaraz Bugti is anticipated to receive the appointment as interim interior minister. The authorities were also considering Farah Azeem, a former government spokeswoman for Balochistan, and Syed Muhammad Ali for the role of caretaker information minister.

Aneeq Ahmed will act as the interim federal minister for Religious and Interfaith Harmony, and Tabish Gohar will receive the portfolio for the ministry of energy.

Additionally, According to sources, former SECP chairman Muhammad Ali Ghuman, columnist Almas Haider, Umar Saif, and Dr. Amhad Saqib will likely join the caretaker federal cabinet.

It is important to note that temporary prime minister Anwarul Haq Kakar began to fulfil his duties on August 14 after taking the oath of office.
