Caretaker Balochistan cabinet takes oath: Details indicate that Capt. (Ret.) Zubair Jamali, Prince Ahmed Ali, Amjad Rasheed, Abdul Qadir Baloch, and Jan Achakzai are among the caretaker cabinet members of Balochistan who have taken the oath.

According to sources, Jamal Khan Raisani, son of Balochistan Awami Party chairman Siraj Khan Raisani, declined to take the oath and did not participate in the ceremony.

In an earlier ceremony conducted at Governor House, Governor Balochistan Malik Abdul Wali Kakar gave the oath to acting Chief Minister Ali Mardan Khan Domki.

The interim Chief Minister of Balochistan received the oath from Governor of Balochistan Malik Abdul Wali Kakar.

Former ministers as well as former chief minister Jam Kamal Khan, interim federal interior minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, and speaker of the Balochistan Assembly Jan Muhammad Jamali were present at the swearing-in ceremony.

On the suggestion of the parliamentary committee, which forwarded Ali Mardan Khan Domki’s name to him yesterday night, the governor authorised Domki’s appointment as interim chief minister of Balochistan.

However, Ali Mardan Domki is a native of the Balochistan region of Lehri and the son of politician Mir Hazoor Bakhsh Domki, who held the office of senator from 1975 to 1977. Further, From 2002 to 2005, the caretaker CM served as Tehsil Nazim, Lehri, and from 2005 to 2010, he served as District Nazim, Sibi.
