Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, the interim prime minister, has vowed to keep fighting terrorism “no matter what.”

His remarks followed a day after Army personnel engaged in a firefight with militants in the Asman Manza district of South Waziristan, resulting in the death of four terrorists.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), army personnel successfully engaged the terrorists’ hideout, killing four of them while injuring two more.
It further mentioned that the location was undergoing sanitation to eliminate any additional terrorists found in the area.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, Kakar added that the entire nation honored and respected all members of the law enforcement community, irrespective of whether they were defending against external attacks or performing their duties for internal security.

Acting PM Commends Successful Chairlift Rescue and Defence Institution’s Role in Disaster Response
In addition, he conveyed his satisfaction over the successful rescue on Tuesday of eight individuals who were stranded on a chairlift in Battagram.
He praised the efforts of the armed forces, the district administration, and the locals.
