The ICC has published the official warm-up schedule for the mega-event, which will take place in India next month. Pakistan will play Australia and New Zealand in those matches.
Pakistan face Australia NZ in warm-up: The 10 countries will compete in two official 50-over games apiece during the week before the World Cup begins on October 5. The games will take place in three different Indian cities.
The games, which will take place between Friday, September 29 and Tuesday, October 3, in Guwahati, Hyderabad, and Thiruvananthapuram, will give teams the ideal chance to acclimatise to the conditions they will likely encounter at the World Cup.
The first match of the warm-up matches features Bangladesh vs. Sri Lanka in Guwahati, South Africa vs. Afghanistan in Thiruvananthapuram, and New Zealand vs. Pakistan in Hyderabad.
The next day in Guwahati, hosts India will square off against the defending champions England, while five-time champions Australia will play the Netherlands in Thiruvananthapuram in search of some good practise.
Teams are allowed to field their whole 15-player squad throughout the matches, which all start at 2:00 pm IST.
