Court cancels interim bail of Qureshi: Additionally, the court revoked Fawad Chaudhry’s provisional release in the PML-N office attack case.

Naseerabad and Model Town detained Chaudhry for setting fire to police cars at Kalma Chowk and damaging the PML-N headquarters.

“Authorities have detained Qureshi in six cases, including the attacks on the Core Commander House and the Askari Tower on May 9.”

The authorities currently have the PTI deputy chairman incarcerated in connection with a case involving the cypher under the Official Secrets Act.

On August 28, after Qureshi’s three-day extension of detention in the US cypher case had ended, a judge approved the extend of Qureshi’s physical remand for an additional two days.

Judge Abual Hasnat Zulqarnain of the Special Court heard the case behind closed doors.

However, On August 25, the court added three more days of physical detention for Qureshi under Sections 5 and 9 of the Official Secrets Act of 1923. After his initial four-day physical remand expired, the court brought him before the court.
