Pakistan and Iran have decided to deepen and broaden their bilateral ties in a number of areas, including business, culture, tourism, and public relations.

Pakistan Iran agree cooperation in diverse fields: the understanding reached during a meeting in Islamabad between Iranian Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghaddam and Caretaker Information Minister Murtaza Solangi.

They discussed topics of shared interest, friendly relations between the two nations, and the promotion of media cooperation.

The interim information minister encouraged greater development of trade ties between Pakistan and Iran at the time. He emphasised how much Pakistan cherishes its cordial ties with Iran.

Murtaza Solangi claimed that there are strong linguistic, cultural, and religious linkages between Islamabad and Tehran.

The Minister emphasised that Pak-Iran media cooperation is urgently needed. “Pakistan is keen to promote cooperation with Iran in the film and drama sectors,” he continued.

Informing the Ambassador on the preparations made for the impending general elections in Pakistan, Murtaza Solangi stated that the government’s top priority is to ensure a peaceful process.

The ambassador stated that Iran highly regards Allama Iqbal and considers him one of the subcontinent’s greatest poets. The Minister announced that Pakistan and Iran will work together to produce a film about Allama Iqbal at the event.
