The Pakistani embassy in the US reiterated on Wednesday that the allegations of Pakistanis being denied visas in the United States were false.

During a press conference at the State Department, Pakistani journalist Jalil Afridi raised the matter and made the announcement a few hours later.

Afridi inquired about allegations that Pakistani Americans were being denied visas and whether the State Department was aware of any such allegations from Deputy Spokesperson Vedant Patel.

Patel replied that even if the reports were accurate, Pakistani consular representatives would need to address the issue.

This development aligns with the State Department’s announcement on Tuesday that they are closely monitoring Imran Khan’s case.

The reporter asked if Congress had requested the State Department to investigate the cypher, given its connection to the case in which Imran Khan was detain.
