Asif Ali Zardari, a former president and co-chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), will be in Lahore tomorrow (Wednesday) to focus on the party’s issues in Punjab.
Zardari camp in Lahore for elections strategy: The former president will attend the Central Executive Committee (CEC) meeting of the party, which is slated to take place in Lahore in September. Tomorrow, PPP leader Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will go from Multan to Lahore.
The previous foreign minister will spend four days in Lahore where he will meet with party members.
The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has called a meeting of its Central Executive Committee (CEC) to discuss the impending general election schedule, hence it is important to note this.
The meeting’s topics will include the political climate in the nation now and potential political changes in the future. Additionally, the CEC will assess its position on general elections.
PPP Chairman Bilawal has sent invites to all CEC members for the meeting scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. on September 14 at Bilawal House in Lahore, and he will chair the meeting.
Further, “Earlier, party chairman Bilawal Bhutto and several other PPP leaders requested the ECP to declare the election date, emphasizing that the Constitution requires holding elections within 90 days.”
