In interbank trade, the US dollar (USD) fell further against the Pakistani rupee (PKR), closing at Rs297.96.

However, In nine days, the USD had a decline of Rs9.14 in the interbank market and Rs21 in the open market.

The dollar is currently trading at Rs298 after losing Rs3 in the open market, according to forex dealers.

The Pakistani rupee (PKR) finished at Rs298.82 yesterday, continuing its upward trend versus the US dollar (USD).

In interbank trade, the Pakistani Rupee increased by Rs1.06 in relation to the US dollar and ended the day at Rs298.82 as opposed to the previous day’s closing of Rs299.88.

However, the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP) reports that the open market exchange rates for buying and selling the dollar were Rs297 and Rs300, respectively.

Analysts claimed that continuing crackdowns nationwide to stop cash smuggling were what caused the dollar’s value to decline.
