The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) released the written exam results for the Central Superior Services (CSS) Competitive Examination-2023, certifying 398 of the 13,008 applicants who took the test as successful.
3% clear CSS 2023’s written examination: This year, the passing percentage was 3.06 percent. According to the results posted on the FPSC website, 28,024 people applied for the exam in total.
It stated that “eligible candidates who have passed the written exam will be informed in due course of the schedule of the medical examination, psychological assessment, and viva voce.”
According to CSS Competitive Examination Rules, 2019, Rule 16(6), “Result of Rejected Candidates Shall Remain Withheld.” The FPSC website has information about these candidates.
The commission also suggested that the chosen candidates frequently check its website to stay updated.
In order to assure accuracy and correctness, due care has been taken. But the Commission retains the right to make any necessary corrections at any moment, it was added.
The 2023 result showed some progress relative to the prior year in terms of percentage.
Only 393, or 1.94%, of the 20,262 candidates that took the CSS exam in 2022 passed the written component.
The FPSC also unveiled the Special CSS Competitive Examination 2023 (MPT) this year.
Beginning on October 12, 2023, and lasting through October 20, 2023, is the Special CSS written test.
A screening test using multiple-choice questions (MCQs) was previously completed by the FPSC.
However, Only those who pass the screening examination will be allowed to take the Special CSS exam.
