In his Tuesday conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi reportedly reaffirmed India’s support for Israel.
Modi talks Netanyahu: Modi stated that the people of India solidly supported Israel in their “difficult hour” in a post on X (previously Twitter).
“India strongly and unequivocally condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations,” he wrote.
He had previously voiced his profound shock at the fatalities in Israel.
Hours after Hamas launched a barrage of missiles into Israel followed by an invasion of land and air, Israel started conducting air attacks in the Gaza Strip. Following Netanyahu’s declaration that Israel “was at hour,” airstrikes in Gaza had already claimed 770 lives.
