The cost of petrol is projected to drop by Rs. 35 per litre in accordance with changes in the price of crude oil around the world.
Petrol price likely to drop: Sources claim that the current price of Rs323.38 a litre of fuel could be reduced by 35 to 285 rupees.
For the upcoming fortnight, the cost of high-speed diesel (HSD) may decrease by Rs16 to Rs30 a litre, similar to the price of petrol.
The temporary administration will, however, make the final choice.
After a two-month price increase, the price of petrol in Pakistan was dropped by Rs 8 per litre on October 1 and fixed at Rs 323.38 per litre.
While this was happening, the cost of high-speed diesel (HSD) fell by Rs. 11 per litre to Rs. 318.18, while the cost of kerosene oil fell by Rs. 7.53 per litre to Rs. 237.28.
