The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) complained to the International Cricket Council on Tuesday about “inappropriate conduct” by Indian spectators during Pakistan’s match against India on October 14 at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium.
PCB files complaint against Indian fans: The PCB has also filed another formal objection with the ICC over the lack of a visa policy for Pakistani fans attending the ongoing World Cup 2023 and the delays in granting visas to media from Pakistan.
It is important to note that before the toss before the intense game, Pakistan captain Babar Azam was booed.
“Later, videos shared on social media captured Indian spectators yelling abusive comments as Mohammad Rizwan left the pitch after being dismiss during Pakistan’s innings.”
After Rizwan dedicated his match-winning century against Sri Lanka to the residents of Gaza, Indian supporters became indignant.
An Indian attorney also complained to the ICC about the Pakistani wicketkeeper batter for praying on the field and praying for the Gazan people as Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka.
Vineet Jindal, an Indian Supreme Court attorney, made a complaint to the ICC about the Pakistani cricketer.
“We are filing a complaint against Pakistan Cricket Player, Mohammad Rizwan, for performing namaz on the cricket pitch during his team’s opening match of the upcoming ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023 on Friday (October 6) versus the Netherlands in Hyderabad.”
