The price of 24 carat gold per tola jumped by Rs. 2,200 on Friday compared to the previous trading day, when it was sold for Rs. 206,300.

Gold rates increased: Additionally, the cost of 10 grammes of 24 carat gold rose by Rs. 1,886, to Rs. 178,755 from Rs. 176,869, while the cost of 10 grammes of 22-karat gold increased from Rs. 162,130 to Rs. 163,859.

Silver per tola and each ten-gram piece continued to be priced at Rs. 2,550 and Rs. 2,186.21, respectively.

On the global market, the cost of gold rose by $27 to $1,999 from $1,972.

Since the beginning of the Gaza conflict, precious metals have been in demand, climbing due to increased geopolitical risk.
