Federal Minister for Privatisation, Abdul Aleem Khan, asserted that the deadline for submitting interest declarations for the national flag carrier, PIA, would not extend further. Highlighting PIA routes, he mentioned international destinations like Jeddah, Madinah, China, Hong Kong, London, Washington, and Toronto. With the arrival of new planes, he expressed confidence that PIA would become profitable, as the private sector recognizes the potential profits in the national flag carrier. Aleem Khan assured transparency in the privatization process, stating it would be conducted openly before the media. He reassured PIA employees, highlighting Pakistan’s skilled pilots and crew, ensuring they won’t face any issues.
