Abdul Aleem Khan, the president of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP), has ordered two party officials to resign from the federal cabinet immediately.

Aleem instructs party leaders to quit federal cabinet: Since April 2022, Awn Chaudhry has advised the prime minister on tourism and sports, and since September 2022, Nauman Langrial has been one of the SAPMs (Special Assistants to the Prime Minister).

Despite holding posts in the federal cabinet, both IPP office-bearers were appointed to their positions prior to the party’s creation. They did, however, just join the IPP.

IPP, according to Alleem Khan, has nothing to do with the PDM administration. He declared that while still keeping its unique independent status, the IPP will run in the upcoming elections.

He said that the party’s organizational structure will be established as soon as possible to address the needs of the populace, including the most disadvantaged groups, and to serve the interests of the country.

Aleem Khan gave the federal cabinet resignation instructions to Nauman Langrial and Awn Chaudhry. Both, according to him, were official federal cabinet members.

Aleem Khan demanded that those responsible for the incidents on May 9 face consequences. The IPP leader met with Yaqub Sheikh and Peer Syed Saeed ul Hassan Shah.

Aleem Khan stated that extra steps should be taken by the government to lessen the impact of inflation on populace. He reaffirmed that IPP would defend the welfare and interests of the people.

The internal organization and structure of the party were also discussed during the discussion. He declared that initiatives were being made to finish the party’s organization at the provincial, district, and tehsil levels soon.
