Army Chief arrives in Iran on official visit: According to a statement released on Friday by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), COAS General Syed Asim Munir arrived in Iran for a two-day official visit.

The Iranian military and civilian leadership will meet with the army chief during his visit. The army commander will talk about defence and security cooperation between Pakistan and Iran at the next meetings.

Inquiring about the condition of soldiers hurt in the Zhob terrorist attack, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir visited Quetta Garrison earlier in the day, according to ISPR.

The military forces have expressed serious concern over the terrorist actions carried out by the proscribed organization Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), operating out of Afghanistan.

Additionally, The officials informed the audience that there are TTP hideouts in Afghanistan and voiced the hope that the Afghan government would forbid the use of its territory as a weapon against other nations.

However, The media spokesperson for the military pleaded with the interim Afghan government to see to it that the Doha pact was carried out. The military also raised concern over Afghan nationals taking part in terrorist attacks in Pakistan.
