Pakistan successfully conducted a flight test of the Ababeel armament system on Wednesday, as stated by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Army conducts test of Ababeel missile: “Re-validating various design, technical parameters, and performance evaluation of different sub-systems” was the goal of the ballistic missile system’s most recent test.
“The ISPR stated that the missile system aims to strengthen deterrence and enhance strategic stability in the region through the operationalization of full spectrum deterrence in the overall construct of credible minimum deterrence,” the ISPR announced.
General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), top officials from the Strategic Plans Division and Strategic Forces Command, as well as scientists and engineers from strategic organisations, were present for the event.
The CJCSC was grateful for everyone’s technical expertise, passion, and dedication to the test’s success. The President, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, and the Services Chiefs congratulated all personnel of the Strategic Forces on the accomplishment.
Prior to this, Pakistan successfully carried out a test flight of their homegrown Fatah-1 Guided Multi-Launch Rocket System in 2021. The rocket system with a range of 140 kilometers can be precisely target and possesses that capability.
