An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore extended Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s interim release in three charges relating to vandalism on May 9 until August 8.
Asad Qureshi’s interim bail extended: Further Sessions After hearing arguments from Mr. Qureshi’s attorney in three cases, including the attacks on the Jinnah House and Askari Tower, the judge approved the bail.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi is the subject of these cases at the Sarwar Road, Gulberg, and Race Course police stations.
Asad Umar’s bail is extend by ATC
Additionally, Asad Umar, the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), also had his interim bail extended by an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore till August 8 in connection with the vandalism of the Askari Tower.
The Gulberg police station accused him and other PTI employees of vandalizing public and private assets, including Askari Tower, on May 9.
The court mandated Asad Umar to assist with the investigation in these matters.
The court also asked for records from other instances in preparation for the next hearing.
