Pakistan will play Nepal in the opening game of the Asia Cup at the Multan Cricket Stadium. The green team will travel to Kandy, Sri Lanka, on August 31 to face India in the second Group-A match scheduled for September 2.

Fakhar Zaman, Imam-ul-Haq, Babar Azam (captain), Mohammad Rizwan (wicketkeeper), Iftikhar Ahmed, Agha Salman, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, Naseem Shah, Shaheen Afridi, and Haris Rauf make up Pakistan’s playing eleven for the match.
Pakistan is the best ODI squad going into the Asia Cup, which starts later this month. They will subsequently participate in the ODI World Cup, which will take place in India in late October or early November.
